Donations
**Donation Notice** Starting Tuesday February 19th, we will begin accepting televisions again. Unfortunately we are imposing restrictions on the TVs we will accept. They must be a maximum of 5 years old with remote and component jacks. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone wishing to kindly donate their TVs to us.
Cochrane Home Treasures accepts jewelry, toys, books (except Textbooks, Encyclopedias, and Reader's Digest/National Geographic Books), DVD's/VHS, puzzles, kitchen wares, silverware, bedding, pet supplies, furniture in good shape, pictures, lamps, small appliances, TVs with remote and component jack, seasonal items, and electronics. All Donations MUST come in closed boxes (with the exception of larger items such as pictures, furniture, etc.)
We currently are accepting donations everyday during normal business hours. The donations must be in closed boxes or bins. We kindly ask that you do not drop donations off on the sidewalk after hours. Leaving donations outside the store after hours is technically referred to as "Dumping" and can result in a fine of up to $1000.00 for the offending party. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following:
-Large household appliances (ovens, fridges, BBQs, etc.) -Construction materials -Encyclopedias/text books/Reader's Digest or National Geographic Books -Skis and Ski Racks -Large television cabinets -Window Blinds -Infant Car Seats & Non-Regulation baby items -Personal Hygiene Items & Humidifiers -Clothing -Computers, Printers, and Typewriters -Dishware or Glassware that is chipped, cracked, badly scratched or has a logo -Furniture that is badly worn, stained or ripped -Items that are not working, rusted or stained -Fitness Equipment older than 5 years -Televisions older than 5 years, or Televisions within the date range but without the component jacks or remotes **Please note that all items donated must be in good working condition and in closed boxes** |
